When I say the word strong, what is the first image that comes to mind?
Most of us see a muscular individual, or something large, overbearing, and extremely forceful. However, strength is not always visible to the naked eye. In fact, appearances are often deceiving.
When I look back over my life and all I have overcome, I know that I am a force to be reckoned with. I fear nothing, I am not easily moved, and I believe with all of my heart and soul that God is on my side. What can mere mortals do to me? To the naked eye, I am a woman who is petite in build. My muscles have atrophied due to endless days spent in bed. Years of my life have gone by, giving me no reason to get up and keep living. So what about me appears strong? Nothing.
But every time I make that choice to get up and live another day, the world shakes. I am not finished making my mark on the world.
Don't let the world dictate who you are. Get to know yourself, love yourself, and then go out and show the world all that you have to offer. You are not here by accident.
